Kindergarten - Kindergarten Teacher
Tiffany Holt began teaching kindergarten at CRES in the 2008/2009 school year. She job-shared her first year, as the English Educator in a Dual Language Class. Tiffany earned her BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education and Art at Central Washington University in 1992. She is currently working on her MSED in Elementary Reading and Writing at Walden University with an expected graduation at the end of August 2015. She has been in education for 17 years, serving as a teacher in Kindergarten, 1st, and a 1st/2nd Multi-age class; advisor to the Head-Start preschool program in Alaska and an interventionist in Reading; technology & media educator for kindergarten & 1st grade. Tiffany chose teaching as a career because of the ‘aha’ moments when a young learner sees themselves as a reader, writer and mathematician PLUS the hugs are pretty awesome. She lives in Carbondale with her twin boys’ and her amazingly supportive husband. Tiffany has a new-found love for CrossFit. She enjoys road trips with her family, taking photo’s and drinking coffee & eating dark chocolate.
